Qualifications

 JOB PURPOSE

 
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving the distribution and development of the company products through pharmacy’s channel.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Lead the commercial discussions with key account (e.g. Unico, Comifar) to deliver volume & sales targets.
  • Help prepare for customer meetings, attend customer meetings regularly and report the minutes from the meeting with key next steps / actions for all parties
  • Responsible for building successful relationships with the main contacts and for expanding the networks across the customer organization.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy and design promotional offers for key accounts that support the brand volume, net sales & in-store visibility targets.
  • Help supporting all aspects of the commercial negotiations, sales development and customer interface and develop quarterly and activity plan for the key accounts.
  • Support instore exploitation of key campaigns & innovation by alignment of promotional & sales plan to overall marketing plan.
  • Support monthly and annual business planning including delivering monthly and annual sales plans and forecasts to support the S&OP process.
  • Manage customer spending & budget in line with allocated budgets.
 
 REQUIRED SKILLS:
 
  • Experience in sales roles within the pharmacy channel
  • At least 2/3 years Account Management experience in the FMCG / Retail / Pharmaceutical sector
  • Behave as a brand champion, ensuring brand equity and guidelines are upheld in all communications
  • Demonstrated negotiation as well interpersonal & relationship building skills
  • A strong track record of growing revenue
  • Ambition to develop and progress in a rapidly growing business
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask to effectively prioritize and manage work flow
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Goal oriented
  • Experience in dealing with pharmacies and pharmacy managers
  • Proven track record in field sales and ability to both build upon existing relationships and develop new ones
  • Proficiency in English
 
 EDUCATION:
 
  • Scientific Degree (Law 219/06) OR Economics Degree
