Here at QuintilesIMS, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and well-respected pharmaceutical company who require a highly motivated and dynamic individual on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in Medical Sales. Working with a portfolio of branded, generic products, you will provide the NHS with well-known, established products with proven efficacy at the most affordable prices. The role is field based and will allow you to hone your sales techniques in a highly respected area.
We are looking for a talented individual who will show:
  • A determined and focussed attitude towards stretching goals and achieving targets.
  • A Key Account Management mind-set to work the local health economy from primary care prescribers and influencers to hospital consultants.
  • Aptitude for planning, organising and honouring territory appointments and meetings.
  • The ability to identify and establish new business for the pharmaceutical product portfolio
  • Proven experience with securing orders with dispensing practices through discount schemes.
  • Demonstrating or presenting products to Health Care Professionals including doctors, nurses and pharmacists, meeting both scientific and business needs.
  • Maintaining detailed records including customer calls, administrative tasks, weekly and monthly reports of the local business.
  • Attending and organising exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
  • Being accountable for own budgets – promotional lunch and stand meetings including general expenses.
  • Develop and maintain excellent ongoing knowledge of disease areas, product and competitors.
  • Demonstrate strong one-to-one/meeting selling skills in addition to presentation skills to groups.
  • Demonstrate a high level of compliance and integrity at all times.

• Experienced Sales professional
